Andy Griffith died today. For the baby boomer generation, this is a big event. We grew up with he Andy Griffith Show. Everyone remembers him as Andy Taylor, sheriff of Mayberry. However, few people today remember he was a stage and screen actor of note before he was Sheriff Taylor and Ron Howard's TV dad.
